Bio
I grew up playing volleyball, basketball, and softball. My love for volleyball spiked in middle school, and after that, it was hard to find me not on a court with a ball in my hand. I was blessed enough to receive an offer from King University in Bristol, TN, where I was a legacy player. I played at King University from 2012 to 2016 as a setter/defensive specialist. I also served as a Graduate Assistant Coach at King from 2016 - 2017, where I graduated with my MBA. My mom played volleyball and basketball at King, so there was a deep history and one that I felt honored to be a part of and contribute to that program's success. My experiences at King with my teammates and coaches are ones that I value, and they fuel my desire to have volleyball in my life now. I know the challenges of being a student-athlete, and I'm happy I can be a part of a coaching staff that wants to pour into these girls so they can grow to be the best version of themselves both on the court and in the classroom. I've known Coach Erika since high school; we've played against each other and as teammates. I know what she values in the game, and I believe, I can complement what she is working to create in a program here at Pellissippi. I'm excited to join the Pellissippi Women's Volleyball program for its second year!
