Women's Soccer Post Season Preview
As the women' s soccer regular season comes to a close, the Panthers are looking ready to make a deep postseason run. The Panthers boast a 9-1-2 record in conference play, securing the #2 seed of the tournament and a home game in the first round. Coach Mariana Diaz is very confident in the team's form right now, and stressed the importance of staying true to the brand of soccer they play by maintaining possession, staying dangerous in the final third, and being relentless off the ball. Coach Diaz also emphasized how important it is for the team to "embrace the moments and play for each other", she feels they have taken all the necessary steps to be ready for postseason play, both mentally and physically. The Pellissippi State Women's Soccer team feel they have something to prove, and seem very excited to "Embrace the Opportunity".
