Knoxville, TN - The blue and yellow stadium lights lit the sky in the Panther's debut at Karns High School Sunday Night. Pellissippi State scored 6 goals in the first 55 minutes to beat Dyersburg State 6-2.
The Panthers and the Eagles traded goals in the third minute of the match, but Dyersburg wouldn't score again until the 66th minute to make the score 6-2, and that would end up being the final tally. It was a fairly clean match, with only 6 total fouls called and no cards given.
Sade Lee put in goals in the 12th, 53rd, and 55th minute to complete the hat-trick and gain her spot as Pellissippi's nominee for player of the week. Sameera Jaffery had a solid outing as well with 6 saves on 8 shots on goal.
