HANCEVILLE, AL– The Pellissippi State men's soccer team has now won its second straight district title and is looking to finally make their mark on the NJCAA tournament. Since taking the helm head coach Abe Tizaff has lead the panthers to unprecedented heights winning 2 straight disctrict titles and taking the team to the NJCAA National Tournament.
Pellissippi met a familiar foe in Georgia Military College in the final, one of the only two teams to beat the Panthers this season. The Panthers sent Georgia Military home with a 4-1 win, avenging Pellissippi’s last loss dating back to September 16th. Including postseason play, the Panthers are currently riding an 11 game winning streak. Alex Lachevre led the team with 2 goals, with Youseff El Hilaa and Gaylor Mubiey adding one each.
Pellissippi State, back to back district champions, will get another shot at a run in the NJCAA national tournament.
