Spring Golf Recap

With only the District Tournament left to compete in this Spring, the Pellissippi State Golf Team is wrapping up their spring portion of the 2023-24 season. This portion of the schedule has seen ups and downs, but most importantly has seen vast improvements in the team and individual student-athletes. 

Head coach Mackenzie Grohman and assistant Jace Devault have been working on getting back to the fundamentals, making small improvements with each member of the team. 

For some, this meant improving their average scoring, and for some, it meant improving on one aspect of their game that might have needed some slight improvement. Overall, getting down to the mechanics of golf and making everyone better was the overall goal 

Heading into the last competition of the spring, the goals remain the same: to improve with each stroke and become better by the end of the week. 

The Panthers are set to finish the season on April 23rd in Bristol, TN at the NJCAA Southeast District Tournament. Stay tuned to PSCC Athletics' social media for all updates on the program.
