Zane Keener is the hitting/outfield coach for the Panthers. Homegrown in Knoxville, Tennessee, Keener graduated from the Christian Academy of Knoxville and was a 3-time state champion (17’, 18’, 19’). He signed with the University of Tennessee out of high school for the 2020 season and completed his collegiate career at Tusculum University through 2024. Keener graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Sports Management. In the 2022 season, the All-Conference outfielder led the Tusculum Pioneers offense with a 1.046 OPS. Over his career, Keener had 186 hits, 117 RBIs, 103 walks, and stole 24 bases. Zane has worked in the Appalachian League for the Greeneville Flyboys.
