Bio

Hayden Pewitt enters his first year as Assistant Coach for baseball at Pellissippi State after two years at Keiser University in Florida.

Before Keiser, Pewitt was the volunteer assistant coach at the University of North Carolina Ashville where he worked with catchers and assisted with hitters. While at UNC Ashville, they finished third in the Big South in the regular season which was the best in school history. He was also an assistant coach in the Cape Cod league for the Harwich Mariners in the Summer of 2022. 

From June 2018 to December 2019, he was the head coach for Badlands Big Sticks in the Expedition Collegiate Summer League in North Dakota. He won EL Coach of the Year in 2019. 
Pewitt graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2017 with a B.A. in Leisure, Sport, and Tourism Studies. Afterward, he went on to Tusculum University where he was a graduate assistant that worked with catchers and outfielders and completed his M.A. in Human Resources and Human Development in 2019. 

He resides in Knoxville with his wife Jamie.
