Knoxville, TN - Pellissippi State Women’s Soccer Star Sade Lee Earns All-American Status
Coming off the first year in program history, Pellissippi star forward Sade Lee has earned NJCAA Division 1 All-American Honors. Sade accumulated 11 goals (Four of which were game-winners), 4 assists, and 26 points, while also earning TCCAA Player of the Year. Highlighting her season at Pellissippi State, Sade had thrilling goals that lifted the Panthers over rivals. Memorably, she scored the game-winning goal against Columbia State with 15 seconds remaining in the match.
Sade, a native of East Tennessee and former Oak Ridge Wildcat, was a crucial part in the formation and success of the inaugural team at Pellissippi State. Head Coach Mariana Diaz (TCCAA Coach of the Year) Had this to say about Sade: "It means the absolute world for Sade to win this award. It set the culture that we are building for this program and the Student-athletes that will come after."
