Brock Evans, an accomplished and multifaceted professional, brings a wealth of experience and passion to his role as Athletics Director at Pellissippi State Community College. Brock's journey is marked by a deep commitment to both education and athletics, making him a dynamic leader in our institution.

Brock's educational foundation is solid, having earned his Bachelor of Science degree in History and Educational Studies from Union College in Barbourville, Kentucky. He furthered his academic pursuits at Union College, obtaining a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Leadership and Administration. With a strong academic background, Brock has honed his skills in education over a decade, holding various positions within higher education.

In his most recent role, Brock served as the college's Specialist for Cohort and Certificate Programs, where he demonstrated his expertise in program development and management. His dedication to education is a driving force in his career, and he has consistently shown a commitment to fostering the academic success of students.

Brock's passion for athletics has been a defining aspect of his life from an early age. His remarkable football career began at Maryville High School, where he contributed significantly to the team's success, culminating in three state championships. This impressive journey earned him a scholarship to Union College, where he excelled as a four-year starter, a three-year captain, and an All Mid-South Selection.

Transitioning seamlessly into coaching, Brock returned to his alma mater to lead the football program for three seasons. As the head position coach for the offensive line and running backs, he played a pivotal role in developing student-athletes both on and off the field. His tenure included serving as the head recruiter for Tennessee, Georgia, and Western Kentucky, leading to the recruitment of two All-American selections and eight All-Mid-South selections.

Brock's dedication to sports extended beyond the gridiron. In 2021, he founded Pellissippi State's Disc Golf Team, displaying his ability to nurture emerging sports programs to success. Under his leadership, the team quickly qualified for the Division 1 national championship and achieved a remarkable 12th-place finish on the national stage. The team's continued growth now boasts three teams, including a Division 1 men's and women's team and a Division 2 men's team, with the 2023 national championship qualification secured by finishing 2nd in the University of Kentucky's Bluegrass Regional Tournament.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Brock shares his life with his wife, Noel Evans, whom he married in 2016. Together, they care for their beloved dogs, Solo and Fenris, and a kitten named Zelda. During his leisure time, Brock enjoys gaming, quality time with family, disc golfing, hiking, kayaking, avidly following University of Tennessee athletics, and exploring the world with his cherished wife. His dedication to both education and athletics, coupled with his diverse interests, make Brock Evans a remarkable and multifaceted leader in our academic and athletic community.
