Morristown, TN - Panthers Win Walters State Opener, Jarek Morton Takes First Overall

In their first meet in program history, Pellissippi State Men's Cross Country team takes Gold, defeating host team Walters State by one point. Freshman Jarek Morton took first place in the 5K, finishing with a time of 18:31.6, 32 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher. The Panthers finished with a team total time of 1:43:45, ahead of second-place Walters State who finished with a time of 1:45:40. The Panthers won by one point.
