Bio

Ryan joined Pellissippi State in May 2023 as the Athletics Compliance Coordinator. 

Ryan is responsible for all aspects of athletics compliance at the college. He also assists other departments on campus with non-athletics-related tasks such as admissions, financial aid, and records. 

Prior to joining the athletics department, Ryan spent seven months as an athletics compliance intern at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and four months as an athletics compliance intern at Utah State University.  

Ryan received his bachelor’s degree in sports management from Wichita State University in 2019 and his JD from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2023.  

Originally from Olathe, KS, Ryan is a fervent supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, Chicago Blackhawks, and Chelsea FC. 

Ryan lives in Knoxville with his wife, Melaina.
